SIXTH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES
TEXT: ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS 

TURN IN THE FOLLOWING ASSIGNMENTS FOR EACH CHAPTER. TURN IN  EACH AS A SEPARATE DOCUMENT, LABELED WITH THE CHAPTER NUMBER AND ASSIGNMENT NAME.
1. CH VOCABULARY AND DEFINITIONS: Make a list of all words highlighted in yellow in the chapter and provide their definitions. Turn in as a separate document on the day of the Vocab Test.
2. CH SECTION REVIEWS: Answer all questions for each Section Review except the last question which is usually a writing assignment. Due the day of the Chapter Test.
3. CH CHAPTER REVIEW: Complete the “Chapter Assessment” at the end of the chapter. Due the day of the Chapter Test.
4. CH WORKSHEETS: Additional review for each section. Due the day of the Chapter Test.
You will have to give one presentation each trimester focused on the chapters covered that trimester.
