Superheroes Writing Project

Your next writing project will be one you write based on a series of several questions. You need to write your responses as an essay. A drawing must also accompany the essay.

Due Dates:
The rough draft is due January 29, 2010.
Your final copy is due February 12, 2010.

Writing:If you could be a superhero, what would be your powers and what would be your great deeds? Your writing should be around 1,000 words. Describe in detail how you would look, what your powers are, and what tasks you might encounter. Create a story for yourself in which you appear as the superhero. Double space the paper and use 12 point font (Arial or similar font). <>

Drawing:In addition to your story, draw a picture of what you would look like as your superhero. Your drawing should show your superhero as full sized. You can draw just the superhero figure in his or her costume, or you may place him or her in a scene that you describe in your story. The drawing should be made on 8 ½ by 11 inch paper.
